22-year-old famous Music Producer Lilxpayne says which DAW you should use Let’s start with the definition of DAW. DAW stands for Digital Audio Workstation an application installed on
your operating system in which you could produce music, record, and mix your products.
Nowadays there are numerous DAW available to use, the most famous ones being FLstudio, Logic Pro, Garageband and etc
each one having its own advantages and disadvantages. Just like any job you want to do, you have got to start
gathering info on which DAW fits your work the best.
For example, FLstudio is designed in a way that makes beat production smoother and Protools is mainly used for mixing and
Mastering your music. Don’t get me wrong you can do all this stuff in only one DAW but knowing this sort of
info for sure will boost your workflow.
You also need to know how each software works. For example, FLstudio is designed so that you could simply add
the folders that you have your files stored in, and use the sounds easily with a simple drag and drop on the other hand
on some DAWs you have to manually navigate through the folders and drag and drop without adding them in the DAW with to
some extend, makes the work slower.
I personally have used most of the DAWs on the market and my honest advice for beginners is to start your journey with
FLstudio cause not only is it easier and more user-friendly, but also the tutorials are out there on Youtube so that
you can find the key to your problem simply with a search.
